Step into the peaceful stillness of the forest with Woodlands Twilight Frit Blend, a 96 COE signature in-house artisan mix inspired by weathered wood, moss-covered stones, fading autumn leaves, violet flowers, and the soft light that settles across the woodland floor at dusk.

At first glance, the blend appears grounded in rich earthy browns accented by warm olive greens and creamy ivory. As the glass melts, however, Woodlands Twilight begins revealing its hidden character. Soft violet, muted blue, smoky plum, and subtle golden undertones emerge from beneath the surface, creating layered movement and natural depth that shifts beautifully as the finished glass catches the light.

Designed for 96 COE glass systems, Woodlands Twilight performs beautifully for lampworking, fusing, glass blowing, and surface decoration techniques. The blend produces distinctly different results depending on how it is worked. Mosaic applications preserve individual fragments of earthy color, creating natural stone-like textures and woodland-inspired patterns. Swirl techniques encourage flowing ribbons of color that resemble weathered wood grain, layered rock formations, and organic landscapes. Encasing enhances luminosity and depth while allowing the blend's hidden colors to emerge beneath the surface. Compatible with 104 COE at small concentrations (5–10%). As always, we recommend testing on a smaller project before committing to a larger project.

One of Woodlands Twilight's most captivating characteristics is its subtle complexity. While the finished work often appears predominantly brown, changing light and viewing angles reveal unexpected olive greens, muted blues, soft violets, and warm golden tones.
