Garden Twilight Frit Blend, 2 oz, 96 COE
Bring the colors of a garden at dusk to your glasswork with the Garden Twilight Frit Blend, an original SWCreations mix inspired by faded flowers, cool evening shadows, and the layered colors that appear as daylight begins to soften.
This 96 COE frit blend combines creamy ivory and soft neutral tones with pale rose, pink, turquoise, blue, and deeper blue accents. The lighter colors create a muted floral background, while the cooler blues and blue-greens add depth and shadow, giving the blend a softly aged, atmospheric quality.
Garden Twilight works especially well in lampwork beads, where the colors can develop into scattered floral-style mosaics, softly blended patches, and deeper pools of blue and teal. Depending on the base glass and application, finished pieces may range from light and romantic to richer, moodier garden effects.
The blend is designed for 96 COE glass and may also be used sparingly with 104 COE glass, generally around 5–10% of the total design. As with any mixed-COE application, testing is recommended.
Use Garden Twilight for floral beads, botanical designs, vintage-inspired glasswork, garden-themed jewelry, layered surface decoration, or anytime you want a soft pastel palette with cooler blue depth and a slightly mysterious feel.
