Emerald Grove Frit Blend, 2 oz, 96 COE

Bring fresh, layered green color to your glasswork with the Emerald Grove Frit Blend, an original SWCreations mix inspired by lush woodland greenery, spring gardens, and rich emerald foliage.

This 96 COE frit blend combines creamy white and pale green with medium green, deeper emerald, teal-green, and softly reactive tones. The lighter glass keeps the palette fresh and dimensional, while the darker greens create depth and contrast as the frit melts and moves.

Emerald Grove is especially versatile in lampwork beads. In swirl applications, the colors can form flowing ribbons of mint, celadon, emerald, and teal. In mosaic-style designs, the blend produces layered botanical patterns with scattered green spots, deeper pools of color, and occasional olive or smoky reactions that add an organic, stone-like quality.

The palette is green-forward enough for Christmas and winter designs, but soft and natural enough for spring florals, botanical beads, woodland themes, garden-inspired jewelry, and year-round glasswork. It also pairs beautifully with white, ivory, clear, and other light neutral base glasses.

The blend is designed for 96 COE glass and may also be used sparingly with 104 COE glass, generally around 5–10% of the total design. As with any mixed-COE application, testing is recommended.

Use Emerald Grove for floral beads, woodland designs, holiday accents, botanical jewelry, layered swirls, mosaic effects, and any project that calls for a fresh, dimensional green palette.
