Coastal Opal Blue Lampwork Focal Bead SRA

Dive into the tranquil beauty of the sea with this one-of-a-kind Coastal Opal Blue Lampwork Focal Bead, handcrafted with luminous layers of aqua, turquoise, seafoam, and icy opal blue tones suspended beneath flowing ribbons of soft golden shimmer.

This artisan focal bead captures the feeling of sunlight filtering through shallow tropical water, with vibrant flashes of electric blue glowing beneath soft translucent layers. Streams of pale aqua and misty opal tones drift organically through the glass, while shimmering metallic ribbons weave throughout the design like currents beneath the ocean's surface.

Encased beneath a glossy, clear layer, the colors gain incredible depth and luminosity as the light shifts across the bead. The contrast between the glowing turquoise accents and the softer opalescent background creates a dimensional, almost underwater effect that feels both calming and dramatic.

Subtle organic reactions and flowing layered movement give the bead a natural painterly quality, while the shimmering gold aventurine accents add warmth, elegance, and visual texture without overpowering the cool coastal palette.

Part of my Studio Focal Bead series, this bead was individually handcrafted in the flame using layered glass techniques designed to preserve depth, separation, and movement within the glass.
