Step into the glow of late autumn with Autumn Embers Frit Blend, a 96 COE signature in-house artisan mix inspired by fading leaves, glowing embers, warm forest tones, and the last flashes of color before winter settles in.

At first glance, the blend appears grounded in warm earthy browns, olive greens, creamy ivory, amber, and deep red accents. As the glass melts, however, Autumn Embers begins revealing a much broader range of color. Rich cranberry, plum, smoky blue, warm orange, soft gold, and subtle violet tones emerge throughout the finished glass, creating a layered fall palette with more depth and contrast than a traditional orange-and-brown autumn mix.

Designed for 96 COE glass systems, Autumn Embers performs beautifully for lampworking, fusing, glass blowing, and surface decoration techniques. The blend produces distinctly different results depending on how you work it. Mosaic applications preserve individual fragments of warm and cool color, creating scattered leaf-like spots and organic stone-inspired patterns. Swirl techniques encourage flowing ribbons of amber, cranberry, olive, plum, and smoky blue. Encasing adds depth and luminosity while letting warmer and cooler colors overlap in unexpected ways.

One of Autumn Embers’ most surprising characteristics is the way its cool tones emerge among the warmer fall colors. While the blend begins with an earthy autumn foundation, finished pieces often reveal smoky blue, violet, and plum alongside orange, amber, deep red, and olive. Different base glass colors further influence the final appearance, allowing each bead or project to develop its own unique personality while still retaining the blend's warm, glowing character.
