9 Texas Bluebonnet Swirl Lampwork Beads SRA

Rich shades of blue, violet, lavender, and ivory, with hints of soft meadow green, flow together in this handmade set of Texas Bluebonnet Swirl lampwork beads. Created using my original Texas Bluebonnet glass blend and a swirl application technique, these beads developed beautiful movement, layered color, and floral-inspired patterns as the glass melted and blended in the flame.

Inspired by the iconic bluebonnet fields that blanket the Texas countryside each spring, these beads capture the feeling of wildflowers swaying beneath bright blue skies. Unlike the mosaic version, where individual color reactions remain distinct, the swirl technique encourages the colors to flow and merge together, creating soft transitions and graceful movement throughout each bead.

The result is a collection of artisan beads filled with depth, color, and organic beauty. Rich blues mingle with lavender and violet tones while touches of ivory and soft green weave throughout the design, creating beads that evoke blooming wildflowers, rolling meadows, and watercolor landscapes. Each bead develops its own unique movement and character, making every set truly one of a kind.

Each bead was handcrafted in the flame, kiln-annealed for durability, and carefully cleaned before being assembled into this coordinating set.
