14 Jewel of the Sea Shimmer Swirls Lampwork Beads Set SRA

This one-of-a-kind Jewel of the Sea Shimmer lampwork bead set captures the luminous beauty of coastal water with an added touch of soft golden sparkle flowing through the glass like sunlight dancing across ocean waves.

Created with my custom Jewel of the Sea frit blend,  including an accidental but beautiful addition of gold aventurine, these beads developed rich layers of ocean blue, teal, seafoam, aqua, and smoky marine tones accented by subtle shimmering ribbons throughout the surface. The unexpected aventurine reaction adds warmth, depth, and flashes of metallic sparkle, elevating the entire palette without overpowering its soft coastal feel.

Each bead is individually handcrafted in the flame using layered swirl techniques that create flowing movement and organic transitions within the glass. Cool blue-greens fold into misty aqua and stormy teal while delicate shimmer drifts through the swirls like sunlight beneath moving water.

Some beads appear airy and translucent, while others develop deeper, ribbon-like reactions and moody, layered contrast, giving the set a natural, painterly quality full of movement, texture, and depth. Encased beneath a glossy finish, the colors and shimmer gain added luminosity as the light shifts across the surface.

The result is a refined artisan bead set that feels elegant, atmospheric, and inspired by shifting coastal tides, ocean currents, and sea glass touched by sunlight.
