Frosted Carnival Frit Blend, 2 oz, 96 COE

Bring a playful burst of color to your glasswork with the Frosted Carnival Frit Blend, an original SWCreations mix filled with cool blues, soft aqua, berry pink, violet, red, yellow, and creamy frosted tones.

This 96 COE frit blend combines Florence, pastel blue, celadon, ivory, cerulean blue, Christmas red, brilliant yellow, raspberry, and a touch of heliotrope for a colorful palette that feels bright without becoming overwhelming. Pale blue, aqua, and creamy tones create a frosted background, while cobalt blue, berry, red, violet, and yellow appear as lively, jewel-like accents.

Frosted Carnival is especially fun in lampwork beads, where the colors can remain as distinct scattered mosaic patterns or soften and move depending on the base glass and technique. The combination of cool and warm colors gives the blend a playful confetti-like quality with enough blue and aqua to keep the overall palette fresh.

Although the frosted colors make it a natural choice for winter designs, this blend isn't limited to one season. Pair it with white or pale blue for an icy look, purple or lavender for something whimsical, or brighter base colors for cheerful floral and year-round designs. The red and cool green-blue tones can even read as festive in holiday glasswork.

The blend is designed for 96 COE glass and may also be used sparingly with 104 COE glass, generally around 5–10% of the total design. As with any mixed-COE application, testing is recommended.
