Bring soft, earthy dimension to your glasswork with the Driftwood Stone Frit Blend, an original SWCreations mix inspired by weathered wood, shoreline stones, and naturally layered neutral tones.

This 96 COE frit blend combines ivory, cream, almond, champagne, warm beige, taupe, caramel brown, smoky brown, and a touch of neutral gray. The lighter colors keep the palette soft and versatile, while the deeper brown and gray tones add contrast and natural variation as the glass melts and moves.

Driftwood Stone works especially well in lampwork beads, creating warm mosaic patterns, mottled stone-like effects, and flowing swirls that resemble polished agate, weathered wood grain, and translucent shoreline stone. Depending on the base glass and application, the finished colors can range from creamy beige and soft taupe to caramel, amber-brown, and smoky neutral tones.

The blend is designed for 96 COE glass and may also be used sparingly with 104 COE glass, generally around 5–10% of the total design. As with any mixed-COE application, testing is recommended.

Use Driftwood Stone for earthy jewelry, coastal-inspired beads, woodland designs, neutral glasswork, organic stone effects, layered swirls, and projects that call for a softer natural palette with warm brown depth.
