Capture the beauty of weathered treasures, peacock feathers, and antique stained glass with Peacock Relic Frit Blend, a signature in-house artisan mix that transforms dramatically in the flame.

At first glance, the blend appears to be a colorful mixture of teal, pink, lavender, ivory, tobacco, and dark reactive tones. As the glass melts, however, Peacock Relic reveals its true character. Colors separate, soften, and react with one another to create unexpected ribbons, marbling, mosaic effects, and aged-looking details that seem almost impossible to predict from the frit alone.

Rich turquoise and teal tones mingle with soft pinks, lavender purples, creamy ivory, warm tobacco hues, and reactive dark accents. Depending on the application technique, the blend can produce dramatically different results. Mosaic applications often highlight the individual colors and reactive effects, while swirl techniques create flowing ribbons of color with surprising flashes of pink and purple. Encasing adds depth and luminosity while enhancing the blend's stained-glass quality and internal movement. Please note that the gold aventurine is not included in this blend, but was added to the bead.

Designed for 96 COE glass systems, Peacock Relic works beautifully for lampworking, fusing, and surface decoration techniques. The blend excels in mosaic, swirl, and encased applications, producing beads and glasswork that feel both vibrant and timeworn, like fragments of an ancient treasure rediscovered after centuries hidden away.

Unlike traditional peacock-inspired palettes that focus primarily on blue and green, Peacock Relic incorporates warm antique tones, soft pinks, and reactive elements that create a richer, more complex color story. Peacock Relic was inspired by the iridescent colors of peacock feathers, tropical betta fish, antique stained glass, and weathered treasures. Layers of teal, turquoise, pink, lavender, ivory, and warm earthy tones combine with reactive glass behavior to create pieces filled with movement, depth, and unexpected discoveries.

Handcrafted in small batches in the USA by glass artist Stephanie A. White, each jar offers consistent quality while allowing for the natural variation expected of artisan-blended materials. Colors may vary slightly due to lighting, application technique, and display settings.
