Creating the Purple Opal Lampwork Focal Bead

This Purple Opal Lampwork focal bead was created with a clear core, striking orange, Rhea Double Helix, and Echo Double Helix. I am not 100% if if I used Rhea or clear. The color was so much prettier than I expected with the plum purple and lavender colors with blue and aqua accents. This bead has a dark purple glass on the ends. I finished this bead off with swirl imprints on both sides of the bead. I will have to make this bread again. I would love to see it with mica or foil accents. 

These beads look a bit brighter without a background behind the bead.
