In this lampwork bead set, I utilized one of our custom tanzanite-blue frit blends paired with vibrant chunks of EDP pink opaque glass. The results are simply breathtaking. The color combinations create a striking contrast that truly makes this stunning set of beads stand out.

Unfortunately, the EDP Dark Rose Effetre Moretti glass is no longer available. I am not 100% why it is not being made any more, but this glass sells for $125 - 136 per lb of glass. Most of us who are lucky enough to have some on hand tend to treat it like it is gold.
To use this sparingly, I used small chunks in each of these beads and the outcome turned out better than I expected. The pink shows through the semi-transparent purple glass and really pops next to the dark purple-blue shades.

As you can see, the purple-blue lampwork beads look beautiful without the pink, but the brilliant pink next to this purple is especially lovely.

The problem with EDP glass is although I have a pretty good stash, you tend to avoid using it knowing you cannot get any more at a reasonable price. I have bit the bullet and paid the higher price because I like this color so much. It just becomes a glass in my stash that I rarely use. Hopefully someone else will create a comparable color one day.
