Last week, I received an order for a set of beads. As I sat down to make these beads, I realized there were no notes of what was used to make this color of beads. I was pretty sure it was from some frit straight out of the package. Lately, I have been trying to use up some of my stash. So, I ended up going through many colors to try to figure out what color was used.

All of these beads look pretty nice together except for the one that had too much green on the right. I probably won't use that frit again within the glass.

These beads are made with:
  • Custom Peach Blend
  • Himalayan Rose
  • Pink Caramel
  • Play Day
  • Rose Bouquet

These beads are made with:

  • Apricot Nectar
  • Wilde Roses
  • Mood Swings
  • Berries
  • Martinique
  • Custom Peach Blend

So, then I made a set with the Berries color mixed with white and these beads turned out gorgeous. The white really makes the colors pop where you can see the variations of pinks, orange, and fuchsia colors. The Berries color is very transparent as you can see in the bold pink color above. Some of these beads have some added gold aventurine for shimmer.

You never know what lampwork bead combinations you will come up with when you play around with colors or mix different blends together. Using the white frit with the transparent frit blends worked out beautifully for these pink beads. Now, I want to try it with other transparent blends to see what they look like.
