When we first developed this particular blend, I was unsure how the colors would behave together. Would they blend harmoniously, or clash and overshadow each other? Would the pigments spread unpredictably, diminishing the clarity or vibrancy of the individual colors? These questions lingered as I prepared the materials, but the results have surpassed expectations. I do think less is more when it comes to using this blend on the lampwork beads.
The outcome is truly stunning. The colors, rich reds, lively oranges, bright yellows, vivid greens, and cool blues, combine beautifully across the beads. The purple, in particular, adds a regal touch; it spreads just a little, creating a subtle, watercolor-like effect, but not enough to overpower the overall design. Instead, it enhances the visual interest and adds depth to each bead.
